Sasaran Sky Mirror is the Malaysia’s version of Salar de Uyunni in Bolivia. This unique natural wonder is accessible only twice a month – during the full moon and new moon. Located 1.74 nautical miles off the coast of the fishing village of Jeram, Selangor, in the middle of the Straits of Malacca Sea, it is submerged underneath the sea most of the time. It is only when the tide is ideal that this Sasaran Sky mirror emerges like magic. The clear shallow waters of this hidden island reflect the sky, creating an otherworldly landscape.
Sekinchan
At the tiny seaside town of Sekinchan, you’ll discover the beauty of laidback Malaysian rural life, only an hour’s drive from Kuala Lumpur.
